Dial-A-Bus is able to provide affordable transportation to our clients partly due to our dedicated volunteer drivers. Our volunteers use vehicles from our sedan and mini-van fleet to help clients attend social programs, medical appointments, adult day-care, religious services, community events, and personal service appointments.

Most volunteers drive approximately one 4-hour shift per week; however our schedulers are happy to accommodate widely varied schedules and time commitments. Our volunteers find that their service to the community through Dial-A-Bus is vastly fulfilling and many stay with us for years. Volunteers build relationships with clients that use the service frequently and thereby become part of the social fabric that keeps our senior and disabled clients active and healthy.
